So, The Boyfriend and I have completed our first week of workouts for the Hundred Pushup Challenge.
Remember, in my original test I did 12 regular pushups in a row.
So far, my totals for last week are:
Day 1 (30 seconds rest between sets)
7, 7, 5, 4, 5 = 28
Day 2 (60 seconds rest between sets)
9, 8, 6, 5, 10 = 38
Day 3 (120 seconds rest between sets)
10, 8, 8, 5, 15 = 46
My arms were pretty sore last night - the numbers jump up quicker than I had thought. Plus I went all gung ho and my last set, I only had to do "at least 10" but I decided to push myself and do 15.
The nice thing is that I can stay on any week that I want if I find that I just can't manage the next week's workouts. It's going to be very interesting to see how Week 2 progresses. I'm already seeing definition in my arms and shoulders. Plus I am definitely getting an extra workout for my stomach and back. Pretty awesome stuff.

Are those real push-ups? I can't even do one...oy. And, by the way, if you guys wanna come visit they just opened up an awesome self-serve frozen yogurt place across the street from our apartment. Less than 20 calories an oz - and $.30 an oz. It's amazing. Yogurtland. Maybe they have one closer to you, too, but I am always up for hanging out and getting some Yogurtland...yum.
The test had to be real pushups, but I do the workouts with girlie, knees down pushups.
My interest is totally peaked with Yogurtland, we may have to visit soon...
